Snipshow Terms of Use
Updated October 3, 2026. Applies to Snipshow 1.3 and later; earlier versions keep chat for 24 hours and have no Discover.
1. Who we are and who can use Snipshow
Snipshow is run by Jade Consulting Services LLC ("we"). Contact: [email protected]. You must be 18 or older and allowed to use Snipshow where you live. When you open the app we ask for your date of birth. That is a self-declaration. We do not check ID, and we do not guarantee who anyone is. If you are under 18, do not use Snipshow. By tapping "I agree" you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. We record the version and time.
2. Your account and profile
Guests can play single rounds. Friends, private rooms, chat and Discover need an account with a confirmed email. Choose a display name, country and language, and add at least two different photos you have the right to use. Do not pretend to be someone else. Keep your login private.
3. Rules
No sexual or nude content, no content involving minors, no hate or abuse, no violence or self-harm encouragement, no threats, scams, spam, ads, or illegal content. No phone numbers, social handles or links in chat. Do not photograph anyone without permission. Skip any dare that feels unsafe. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users and may remove content or accounts to protect people.
4. Photos and AI
You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store them, show them to the audience the app describes, and process them to run the game. We do not use AI to scan or approve profile photos. Game judging uses AI services (currently Groq, Cloudflare Workers AI and, as a fallback, OpenRouter). AI judging can be wrong and is for fun, not a statement of fact about anyone. Chat messages are checked by automated filters before they are sent; the filters can block harmless messages.
5. Discover, friends, rooms, chat
Discover (if on for your account): other adults can see a card with your display name, declared age, country or city, language, interests and, if you chose, your profession, plus TWO of your profile photos. More of your photos are visible to someone only after you both accept each other. The app explains this on screen. Cards show a rough distance band (for example "about 10 km"), never your exact location. A card is not an identity check and does not promise safety. Nothing starts until you accept an invitation.
Private rooms: only current members see room content. It is not end-to-end encrypted and cannot stop screenshots.
Chat: up to 200 characters, checked before sending. Messages delete automatically after 30 days. The app says this beside the chat. Leaving or deleting a room deletes its chat.
Friends: a friendship forms only if both people agree. Blocking removes a person's access going forward and cannot undo what they already saw.
Albums: photos you save stay until you delete them. Unsaved game photos are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours.
Location (Discover only, optional): the app asks for approximate location while it is open, rounds it before sending, uses it only for a distance band, keeps it for at most 24 hours, and never tracks you in the background.
6. Reporting, blocking and safety
Every photo, message and profile has Report and Block. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, usually sooner. If three different people report the same person, that person is hidden from others automatically until a reviewer looks. Do not misuse reports. Questions or appeals: [email protected]. In an emergency call local emergency services; Snipshow is not an emergency service.
7. Child safety
Snipshow is for adults only. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAM) and any sexualized content involving minors. If we find or are told about it, we remove it, keep the evidence as the law requires, report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline as US law requires, and ban the account. 8. Deleting your account
Delete your account in the app. We hide your content right away and aim to erase stored copies within 30 days, including profile, photos, rooms you created, friends, chat and Discover records. Limited safety or legal records can remain where the law requires. We cannot recall screenshots other people took.
9. Changes, law, contact
We may change or pause features for safety, upkeep or legal reasons and will ask you to accept material changes. Florida, USA law governs, without removing rights you have under local consumer or privacy law. No mandatory arbitration. Contact: [email protected].
